Four habits that make any of these better

  • Ask for less. Delete any field you will not read.
  • Make only the essentials required.
  • Use logic to hide the follow-up questions until they apply. A low rating can reveal "What went wrong?".
  • Send answers where you work. Connect Google Sheets, Notion, Airtable, Slack, Discord or a webhook from the Integrations tab.

What happens to the replies

Replies land in the Submissions table, which you can export as CSV, JSON or XLSX. Insights shows charts, averages and NPS. For busy forms, such as a contact form or a bug report, AI triage can label each reply with a category and a priority and send urgent ones to email or Slack.

Where Tally is the better pick

Tally has been around since 2021, so there are more community-made examples and walkthroughs for it. Qwenvo's 180+ templates are all free to use, but its community is much smaller.

Which example fits which goal

  • Win customers: contact form, quote request form, product waitlist, webinar registration.
  • Manage people: job application form, volunteer signup, time-off request, event RSVP, wedding RSVP.
  • Learn from people: customer feedback form, NPS survey, bug report form, online trivia quiz.
  • Take money or orders: order form, with a Payment block.

Add logic to any of them

Most of these get better with one rule. On the RSVP, show the dietary question only when someone says yes. On the contact form, jump to a short page for sales questions. On the feedback form, ask a follow-up only when the rating is low. Open a question's menu and choose Add conditional logic; the help page lists the options.
