Qwenvo

A free alternative to Google Forms with logic, payments and AI

By the Qwenvo team · · 3 min read

The best free alternative to Google Forms is a builder that keeps the price at $0 but adds what Google Forms leaves out: payments, a design you control and answers you can act on. Qwenvo does that. It has no paid plans, and nothing in this post needs a card.

Why people look past Google Forms

Google Forms is free with a Google account, and it has a quiz mode with grading. For a quick poll among colleagues it is hard to beat. The complaints come when a form leaves the office:

  • No built-in payments. You cannot collect a deposit or an order in the form itself.
  • File uploads need a Google sign-in. Respondents must sign in with Google to attach a file, which is a barrier for customers and applicants.
  • Limited design and branding. The form looks like a Google form, whatever your brand looks like.

What you get on Qwenvo for $0

Qwenvo's editor works like a document. Type / to insert a block, type @ to reuse an earlier answer later in the form. There are no tiers, so every feature below is on for every account.

  • Payments: a Payment block that charges through your own Stripe account. Qwenvo adds a 0% platform fee; Stripe's own fee still applies.
  • File uploads up to 1 GB per file, with no Google account involved.
  • Design: colours, fonts, button styles, layout, logo, cover image and custom CSS in the Customize panel.
  • Branding: switch off the Qwenvo badge in the form's Settings.
  • Logic: show or hide questions, jump to a page, calculated fields for prices and scores.
  • Your own domain: put the form on a subdomain such as forms.yourcompany.com through the Domains page.

Moving a Google Form to Qwenvo

Qwenvo has no Google Forms importer, so you bring the questions across yourself. It takes minutes, not hours.

  1. Create a free account.
  2. On the empty-form screen, describe the form in a sentence and let the AI build a first draft, or paste your questions into the importer as plain text, Markdown or CSV. A screenshot of the old form works too. See import forms.
  3. Check each question type. Dropdowns, checkboxes, linear scales and dates all have a matching block.
  4. Open the form's Settings and switch off Qwenvo branding, then set a redirect or a thank-you page.
  5. Go to the Share tab and copy the public link, or paste an embed (Standard, Popup or Full page) into your site.

Answers can go to a Submissions table, Google Sheets, Notion, Airtable, Slack, Discord, Zapier, Make or a webhook. You can export CSV, JSON or XLSX at any point.

An example: a workshop signup with a deposit

Start from the workshop booking template. Add a Payment block for the deposit. Use a Dropdown for the session date, and a conditional logic rule that shows a dietary question only when the person picks an in-person session. Turn on confirmation emails so every payer gets a receipt from you.

Where Google Forms is still the better pick

If everyone you collect from already has a Google account and you only need a short internal form, Google Forms needs nothing new. Qwenvo launched in October 2026, so it has far fewer reviews, it is hosted in the United States, it supports Stripe only for payments and it has no mobile app.

Will this stay free? If paid plans are ever introduced, everything you already use stays available and you will be told well in advance. Today there is no plan to pick and no card on file.

Questions people ask

Is there a Google Forms alternative that is actually free?

Yes. Qwenvo has no paid plans, unlimited forms and unlimited submissions. A fair use policy applies to very heavy accounts, around 50,000 submissions or emails a month, which normal use never reaches. Details are in the fair use policy.

Can I collect payments in a Google Forms alternative?

On Qwenvo, yes. Add a Payment block and connect your own Stripe account. The money goes to your Stripe balance and Qwenvo takes no cut.

Will my team be able to edit the form together?

Teammates, workspaces and folders are unlimited and free. One caveat: if two people edit the same form at the same moment, the last save wins, so agree on who edits when.

Every feature, $0, no card.
