Switch from Tally to Qwenvo in 10 minutes

By the Qwenvo team · · 2 min read

There is no one-click Tally importer yet, so here is the honest version of the move. For a typical form it takes about ten minutes, and once it is done you keep every Tally Pro feature without paying for it.

1. Copy your questions

Open the Tally form in preview and copy the questions. Paste them into a text file in this Markdown shape, which Qwenvo's importer reads:

# Contact us
## Your name
## Email
[email]
## What do you need help with?
- Sales
- Support
- Something else
---
## Anything else we should know?

# is the form title, ## is a question, an optional [type] line sets the field type, - lines are options and --- starts a new page.

2. Import it

Create a free Qwenvo account, choose Import, pick Markdown and paste. The questions, options and pages appear in the editor. You can also describe the form to the AI builder and let it draft it for you.

3. Rebuild the logic and the look

  • Logic works the same way as on Tally: type / and add a conditional logic block, or use Add conditional logic from a question's menu.
  • Colours, fonts, button styles and layout are in Customize, free (on Tally they are Pro).
  • Switch off Qwenvo branding in Settings, also free.

4. Swap the link or embed

Publish, then replace the Tally link or embed code on your site with Qwenvo's from the Share tab. Standard, popup and full-page embeds are all there. Want it on your own domain? That is free too: see custom domains.

5. Turn on what you were paying for

Tally prices from tally.so/pricing on 2026-10-29: Pro $29/month or $290/year, Business $89/month or $890/year.

Keep the Tally form live for a few days, until no new responses arrive there, then close it. Export old responses from Tally as CSV for your records.

Where Tally is still the better pick: your data has to be hosted in Europe, you want a tool with five years of reviews behind it, or you depend on an integration Qwenvo does not have yet. Tally prices and plan details were checked on tally.so on 2026-10-29.
