Wufoo alternative: a modern, free form builder

By the Qwenvo team · · 3 min read

A modern, free Wufoo alternative is Qwenvo. It has a document-style editor where you type / to add questions, logic, payments through Stripe, file uploads and unlimited teammates, with no paid plans. We have not verified Wufoo's current prices, so check its pricing page.

Check Wufoo's side first

We have not verified Wufoo's plans, limits or features, so we quote none. See the Wufoo pricing page for what you get today. If your existing forms still work and cost nothing you mind, there is no rush. The sections below help when you want a different editor, a lower bill, or features you are missing.

What a switch looks like

Most Wufoo users have a handful of forms, a few embeds and some notifications. That is a one-afternoon job.

  1. Inventory. Write down each form, where it is embedded, who is notified and where entries go.
  2. Export your entries from Wufoo so you keep the history. Qwenvo cannot import old entries, so store them in a spreadsheet.
  3. Rebuild the questions. Copy them into a Word file, a CSV (question, type, options) or Markdown and use the importer, or describe the form to the AI on the empty-form screen.
  4. Rebuild logic and notifications in the form's Settings.
  5. Swap the embeds. Paste the Standard, Popup or Full page embed in your site, or use a custom domain.
  6. Run both side by side for a week, then retire the old form.

Good first forms to rebuild

Start with the one that gets the most traffic and has the simplest logic. Typical candidates are the contact form, a registration form, an event RSVP or a job application. Compare the result with the old form on a phone before you switch.

Where Wufoo, or your existing setup, may be the better pick

If a Wufoo form is embedded in many places, wired into other systems and working, the cost of moving may exceed the benefit. Qwenvo launched in October 2026, so it has few reviews and a short track record, supports Stripe only for payments and has no mobile app. Both products are also hosted away from Europe or elsewhere; check where your data needs to live.

Will this stay free? If paid plans are ever introduced, everything you already use stays available and you will be told well in advance. Today there is no plan to pick and no card on file.

What to do with old entries

Your history is worth keeping. Before you close anything, export every Wufoo entry to a spreadsheet and store it somewhere safe. Name the file clearly with the form name and the export date. If you later need to answer a question about an old submission, you will thank yourself.

On the Qwenvo side, new responses collect in the Submissions table. If you want them in a spreadsheet too, connect Google Sheets, or export CSV, JSON or XLSX whenever you like. If other systems depend on those responses, use a webhook or the REST API so they receive each submission as it arrives.

Finally, put a short redirect or notice on the old form once the new one is live, so nobody keeps filling in the wrong one.
