Tally has three plans. Free costs nothing. Pro is $29 a month, or $290 billed yearly. Business is $89 a month, or $890 billed yearly. Yearly billing works out to roughly two months free. All prices below were read from tally.so/pricing.
The three plans in plain numbers
- Free: $0. Unlimited forms and submissions, logic, calculations, payments, signatures and file uploads up to 10 MB per file, plus a free AI assistant for building forms.
- Pro: $29 a month, or $290 a year (shown as $24 a month). Adds branding removal, custom domains, teammates, partial submissions, design options, custom CSS, custom emails, link previews, analytics, 30-day version history, Google Analytics and Meta Pixel, and larger uploads.
- Business: $89 a month, or $890 a year (shown as $74 a month). Adds data retention, email verification and 90-day version history.
Monthly versus yearly: the arithmetic
Pro for twelve months at the monthly price is $348. The yearly price is $290, so yearly billing saves $58. Business for twelve months is $1068 monthly against $890 yearly, a saving of $178.
Yearly billing is the only discount Tally lists on its pricing page. It also means paying everything upfront, which matters if you might stop using the tool in four months.
What a year costs in three situations
- A freelancer who needs the badge off: Pro yearly, $290.
- A small team that needs a shared workspace and a custom domain: Pro again, because teammates are a Pro feature. Check Tally's pricing page for how seats are counted before you budget. At the plan price it is $290 a year.
- An organization that must delete data automatically and verify respondent emails: Business yearly, $890. Over two years that is $1780.
Where the money goes
Most of the price buys features that are not about volume. Tally Free already has unlimited submissions. So you are not paying for more capacity; you are paying to unlock presentation and control. Here is the whole list, with the plan each item sits on.

The cheaper route: $0
Qwenvo has no paid plans, so the cost of every row above is nothing. Same editor idea (type / for a block, @ to reuse an earlier answer), no card, no trial.
- Sign up and click New form.
- Describe the form to Create with AI, or pick a template such as the client intake form.
- Open Settings and switch off Qwenvo branding.
- On the Share tab, set your link preview. For your own domain, add a subdomain on the Domains page, create the CNAME at your DNS host and click Verify. The steps are in the custom domains guide.
Where Tally is the better pick
Where Tally is still the better pick: your data has to be hosted in Europe, you want a tool with five years of reviews behind it, or you depend on an integration Qwenvo does not have yet.
Questions to ask before you buy a plan
- Which single feature am I paying for? If it is one, check whether another builder includes it.
- Will I still use this tool in ten months? Yearly billing only pays off if you stay.
- Who else needs access? Teammates sit on Pro, so count them before choosing.
- Do I need Business controls such as data retention or email verification, or am I buying them "just in case"?
- What happens to my forms if I stop paying? Read the terms on Tally's site before you commit.
One piece of arithmetic is worth knowing. Pro at $290 a year equals 10 months of the monthly price. If you are sure you need Pro for 10 months or more, yearly is cheaper. If you are not sure, monthly lets you leave sooner, at a higher unit price.
