Tally for Claude: using your forms from Claude, plus Qwenvo's MCP

By the Qwenvo team · · 3 min read

Yes, you can use forms from Claude. Tally has an MCP server and lists Claude and ChatGPT apps. Qwenvo has an MCP server too: connect it to Claude and the assistant can list your forms, read their questions and submissions, and draft a new form from a prompt. It cannot delete forms or individual submissions.

What the two offer

  • Tally: an MCP server, plus Claude and ChatGPT apps listed on its site. Its AI builds forms; reading submissions needs its MCP and an assistant, or Zapier or Make.
  • Qwenvo: an MCP server with four tools: list_forms, get_form, list_submissions and create_form_from_prompt. Details are at /developers.

Connect Qwenvo to Claude

  1. In Qwenvo, open Settings then API keys and create a key.
  2. Open a form's Integrations tab and choose Claude. It shows the server URL and a field that builds a connector URL from your key.
  3. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
  4. Name it Qwenvo and paste the connector URL.
  5. Start a chat and make sure the Qwenvo connector is enabled.

In Claude Code, you can add the server from the command line instead; the Integrations tab shows the exact command with your URL. Other MCP clients can use the MCP server card on the same tab.

Treat the connector URL like a password, because the key is part of it. If it leaks, create a new key in Settings and stop using the old one.

Prompts to try

  • "List my Qwenvo forms and tell me which ones got submissions this week."
  • "Read the submissions to my contact form and group them by what people are asking for."
  • "Summarize the complaints in last week's customer feedback form in five bullets."
  • "Create a three-page customer onboarding survey with an NPS question and a file upload."
  • "Open my event form and suggest which questions I could remove to make it shorter."

The last one only reads the form. To change it, you edit in Qwenvo yourself or ask Ask Qwenvo (Ctrl J) inside the editor.

Claude or built-in triage?

They answer different questions. Ask Claude when you want an open-ended analysis on demand. Use built-in AI triage when you want every submission labeled and routed automatically, without anyone starting a chat. Triage covers up to 10,000 submissions a month per account and can send chosen priorities to up to five email addresses or a Slack incoming webhook. See AI form triage.

Where Tally is the better pick

Tally lists a Claude app. On Qwenvo, you add a custom connector yourself, which is a few more steps. If a one-click listed app matters to you, that is a point for Tally. Qwenvo also has fewer reviews, having launched in October 2026.

Safety notes before you connect an assistant

  • API keys on Qwenvo reach every workspace you belong to, so create a separate key for each tool. Then you can replace one without breaking the rest.
  • The connector can read submissions. Only connect it to an assistant account you trust with that data.
  • Review anything the assistant drafts before you publish it.

A simple weekly routine

Once Claude is connected, ask for a weekly digest of new submissions to your most important forms: the main themes, anything urgent, and a count of how many people asked for the same thing. Five minutes on Monday beats scrolling through a table.

When the REST API is the better tool

Claude is great for questions asked in plain language. If you need a fixed, repeatable job, such as syncing every new submission into your own database each night, use the REST API or a webhook instead. Both are free on Qwenvo and documented on the developers page.
