Tally Business is $890 a year. Here's the version that costs nothing

By the Qwenvo team · · 2 min read

Tally Business costs $89 a month, or $890 a year. On top of everything in Pro, its pricing page lists 3 more things: data retention controls, respondent email verification and 90 days of version history.

Those are the features an organisation needs once forms carry personal data. On Qwenvo they are included for every account, along with one Tally does not list at all: an audit log.

What each one does

  • Data retention: submissions are deleted automatically after the number of days you choose, so you are not storing personal data longer than you need.
  • Respondent email verification: respondents confirm their email with a one-time code before the form is accepted, which keeps fake addresses out of your list.
  • Version history: restore any form to how it was up to 90 days ago.
  • Audit log: see who published, deleted, exported or changed what across the workspace, and export it for your records.
  • AI routing: urgent or sensitive submissions go straight to the right inbox or Slack channel.

Where Tally Business is still the better pick

Tally is built and hosted in Europe; Qwenvo is hosted in the United States. If your compliance rules require EU hosting, that one fact outweighs the price difference. Neither product offers HIPAA compliance.

Will this stay free? If paid plans are ever introduced, everything you already use stays available and you will be told well in advance. Today there is no plan to pick and no card on file. Tally prices and plan details were checked on tally.so on 2026-10-29.
