Tally's free AI assistant builds forms: you describe one and it drafts the questions. That solves the blank page, but not the pile of replies that comes later. Qwenvo has the same prompt-to-form builder and adds AI triage, which reads every submission and labels it. The two jobs are different, and it helps to keep them apart.
AI job one: building the form
Both tools let you describe a form in plain language and get a draft. It is a good shortcut, and you should always edit the result.
In Qwenvo:
- Click New form. On the empty-form screen, choose Create with AI.
- Describe it: "a three-page customer onboarding survey with an NPS question and a file upload".
- Read the draft. Remove anything you do not need and tighten the wording.
- On a form that already has content, press Ctrl J to open Ask Qwenvo and edit by instruction, such as "add a phone number after the email".
The Create with AI help page has more examples. You can also import a Typeform export, a Word file, a PDF or a screenshot if you already have the questions elsewhere.
AI job two: reading the replies
A form that gets 200 replies a week creates a different problem: someone must read them. That is where triage helps.
With AI triage, every submission gets:
- a category
- a priority (low, normal, high or urgent)
- a sentiment
- a one-to-two-sentence summary
- a suggested reply
It covers up to 10,000 submissions a month per account. Our measured model cost is about $0.22 per 1,000 submissions, which is why it is included for every account.
Set up triage in five steps
- Open the form's Settings drawer and find Triage submissions with AI. Switch it on.
- Add a routing rule. Example: when the priority is urgent, or the category is "Billing".
- Choose where it goes: up to five email addresses, or a Slack incoming webhook.
- Send a test submission that sounds angry, and check that the label and routing make sense.
- Open the Submissions tab to see the labels beside each reply.
A longer walkthrough is in AI form triage.
What to keep in mind with AI on replies
- The label is a suggestion. A human should decide anything that affects a person, such as a refund or a job.
- Check a sample every week. If a category keeps being wrong, rename it or rewrite the rule.
- Do not put data in the form you would not be comfortable having an AI model read.
Where Tally is the better pick
Tally's AI form builder is free, and it also has an MCP server plus listed Claude and ChatGPT apps. Reading submissions with Tally's AI needs its MCP and an assistant, or a Zapier or Make workflow. If you are on Tally already, that route works. Qwenvo is newer and has fewer reviews, though; try it on one form first.
Prompts that give better first drafts
- Say who fills it in: "for new customers in their first week".
- Say how long it should be: "under ten questions, two pages".
- Name the blocks you want: "include a rating, an NPS question and a file upload".
- Say what to do with the answers: "so I can sort replies by urgency".
A realistic workflow
Use AI at both ends and your own judgment in the middle. Let it draft the form, then edit the wording yourself and publish. Once replies arrive, let triage label and route them, and read the urgent ones first. Over a week you will learn which categories work and which need renaming.
What AI should not do for you
AI can draft questions, label replies and suggest an answer, but it should not make final calls. Keep a person in the loop for refunds, hiring and anything sensitive. Treat a suggested reply as a starting point and edit it before it goes out.
