Free survey maker with no limits: build, run and read results

By the Qwenvo team · · 3 min read

Qwenvo is a free survey maker with no response cap and no paid plan. It has rating, linear scale, matrix, ranking and NPS-style questions, conditional logic, charts and averages in Insights, and AI that summarizes open answers. You can run a survey end to end without a card.

The question types a survey needs

  • Rating and Linear scale for satisfaction and likelihood questions.
  • Matrix to ask the same scale across several items in a grid.
  • Ranking to make people choose between priorities.
  • Multiple choice, Checkboxes, Dropdown and Multi-select for closed questions.
  • Long answer for the open question that tells you why.
  • Number, Date and Email when you need structured data.

Build a survey in six steps

  1. Start from a template: NPS survey, CSAT survey, market research survey or employee satisfaction survey.
  2. Put the most important question first, while people still have energy.
  3. Keep each page short with New page blocks, and turn on the progress bar.
  4. Use conditional logic to ask follow-ups only when relevant, such as asking "What went wrong?" only for low scores.
  5. Decide anonymous or not. If you want answers without names, do not ask for them, and say so on the first page.
  6. Publish and share the link, embed it on your site, or send it by email.

Read the results

Insights shows charts, averages and NPS for closed questions. Submissions lists every response, with exports to CSV, JSON and XLSX and a PDF per submission. Drop-off analytics shows where people quit, which tells you if your survey is too long. For open answers, switch on Triage submissions with AI in Settings and each response gets a category, sentiment and short summary. See free AI survey analysis.

Run a clean survey

  • Ask one thing per question. "How fast and friendly was support?" is two questions.
  • Use balanced scales and label the ends.
  • Prevent duplicate submissions so one person doesn't count twice.
  • Close the survey on a date, or after a number of responses.
  • Send it to the people whose answers you need, not to everyone.

How others handle limits

SurveyMonkey's free plan limits responses and features, so check its pricing page before you rely on it: surveymonkey.com/pricing. Typeform's free plan has a limited number of responses. Google Forms is free with a Google account, with limited design control. Formbricks is open source and built for product and experience surveys; its Community Edition is free to self-host.

Qwenvo's one practical boundary is the fair use policy, around 50,000 submissions or 50,000 emails a month. Will this stay free? If paid plans are ever introduced, everything you already use stays available and you will be told well in advance. Today there is no plan to pick and no card on file.

Honest limit

Qwenvo does not find respondents for you. You bring the audience. It also launched in October 2026, so there are few public reviews yet. If you need a research panel, a dedicated survey platform is a better fit.

Pick the right survey length

Survey length should match how much you are asking of people and what you give back. A short pulse check can be five questions. A research survey for people who care about the topic can be longer, if you split it into pages and show progress. Tell people up front roughly how long it will take, and be honest, because people remember when it takes longer.

After you publish, check drop-off analytics. If people leave at the same question, fix that question before you send the survey to more people.

Before you send it

Take the survey yourself on your phone and time it. Ask one colleague to take it and tell you which question made them stop. Check that every required question really needs an answer, and that your thank-you page says what you will do with the results. Then send it.

Questions people ask

How many responses can a free survey collect?

There is no response cap by plan. Fair use applies at very high volume.

Can I make an anonymous survey?

Do not ask for identifying fields, and say clearly that the survey is anonymous. Be aware that email verification, if you turn it on, collects an email address.

Can I export results?

Yes: CSV, JSON, XLSX, or a PDF per submission.

Next step: copy the NPS survey, add one open question and send it to ten people.

Every feature, $0, no card.
