To make a free poll on Qwenvo, create a form with one Multiple choice question, publish it, and share the link. Voters just open the link and answer. You see the results as charts in Insights. You can close the poll on a date, cap the number of responses and prevent duplicate submissions. There is no paid plan.
Build the poll in two minutes
- Create a free account and open a new form.
- Type the question as the title, then type
/and choose Multiple choice. Add your options. - Use Checkboxes instead if people can pick more than one, or Ranking if you want an ordered preference.
- Open Settings and turn on prevent duplicate submissions.
- Set the poll to close on a date, or after a number of responses.
- Publish and copy the link from the Share tab.
Or describe it to Create with AI: "A poll asking which day works best for the team offsite, Friday to Sunday."
Poll ideas with ready templates
- Pick a movie, a book or a restaurant: book club vote.
- Choose what to build next: roadmap vote.
- Choose what to make next on a channel: YouTube video ideas poll.
- Vote on winners in a community: community awards nomination.
- Choose a food order: team lunch order.
See the results
Open Insights for charts of each option. Submissions lists the individual votes and exports to CSV, JSON or XLSX. Insights is for you, the owner. If you want voters to see the outcome, share a screenshot or put the totals in your own post.
Make the poll fair
- Prevent duplicate submissions. It helps, but it is not proof of identity, so don't use a simple poll for anything with real stakes.
- Keep options balanced in length and wording.
- Add an Other option if your list may be missing something.
- Close it on time. A deadline stops results drifting after a decision.
- Password protect it if only a specific group should vote, and share the password with them.
How it compares with Google Forms
Google Forms is free with a Google account and handles polls well for people already in Google's tools. Qwenvo is the alternative when you want better design, your own branding settings, a custom domain, or AI summaries of open comments. It has no mobile app, and the editor is a document you type into, which may be a change if you are used to Google's layout.
Polls for groups and for the public
For a private group, share the link in your chat and use a password if the vote should stay inside the group. For a public poll, embed it on your page or share the link, set a close date and a response cap if you want one, and accept that anyone with the link may vote.
If a result will decide something that matters, such as a prize or a budget, a simple link poll is not strong evidence of who voted. Use respondent email verification (a one-time code) to make casual repeat votes harder, and say in the poll how the winner will be decided.
Quick poll or full survey?
A poll is one question with a clear set of options. If you find yourself adding a second or third question, you are probably running a survey, and the setup changes: add pages, a progress bar and logic. See the survey maker guide. For a one-question vote, keep it as short as it looks, because the fewer steps there are, the more people will answer.
Questions people ask
Do voters need an account?
No. They open the link and answer, and you decide whether to ask for an email.
Can I embed a poll on my site?
Yes, with Standard, Popup or Full page embeds from the Share tab. See embed.
Is there a limit on votes?
No submission cap by plan; the fair use policy applies at very high volume. Will this stay free? If paid plans are ever introduced, everything you already use stays available and you will be told well in advance. Today there is no plan to pick and no card on file.
Next step: make a one-question poll now, and send it to one friend as a test. For the wider picture, read a form builder with no paid plans.
Every feature, $0, no card.
