Qwenvo

A free alternative to Jotform with no form or submission caps

By the Qwenvo team · · 3 min read

The free alternative to Jotform is Qwenvo. Jotform's free Starter plan has form and submission limits and shows Jotform branding, while its paid Bronze, Silver and Gold plans remove the branding. Qwenvo has no paid plans, no limits on forms or submissions, and a switch to remove its badge.

What Jotform's free plan means in practice

Jotform's pricing page describes a free Starter plan with limits on forms and submissions and Jotform branding on your forms, and paid Bronze, Silver and Gold plans that remove the branding. Plenty of people use the free tier happily. The limits matter when a form takes off, or when a client sees the badge. Check the Jotform pricing page for the numbers, since they change.

What changes on Qwenvo

  • No tiers. Every feature is on for every account. No card, no trial.
  • No form or submission cap. A fair use policy applies at around 50,000 submissions or emails a month.
  • Branding off. Open the form's Settings and switch off Qwenvo branding.
  • Design. Colours, fonts, button styles, layout, logo, cover and custom CSS in the Customize panel.
  • Payments through your own Stripe account with a 0% platform fee.
  • Team. Unlimited teammates, workspaces and folders.
  • AI. Describe a form on the empty-form screen, or press Ctrl J to open Ask Qwenvo inside a form.

Moving over without retyping

There is no Jotform importer, but the importer takes your questions in several formats. Copy the questions into a document, a CSV or a Markdown file, or take a screenshot of the form, and import it.

  1. Create a free account.
  2. Open the importer (see import forms) and drop in a Word file, a PDF, a CSV with question, type, options, Markdown, plain text or a screenshot.
  3. Review each block, then fix conditional logic where needed.
  4. Reconnect your destinations: Google Sheets, Notion, Airtable, Slack, Zapier, Make or a webhook.
  5. Swap the embed on your site, or use a custom domain so the link stays on your brand.

Where Jotform is still the better pick

Jotform has a huge template library, a mobile app, many payment processors including PayPal, and HIPAA features on its paid plans. Qwenvo has 180+ templates, no mobile app, Stripe only, and no HIPAA offering, and it launched in October 2026. If you depend on any of those Jotform strengths, it is the right tool. For health data, read Jotform alternatives and HIPAA.

Will this stay free? If paid plans are ever introduced, everything you already use stays available and you will be told well in advance. Today there is no plan to pick and no card on file.

A one-hour test before you decide

Do not move everything. Test with one form and judge it against what you have today.

  1. Pick your most important live Jotform form.
  2. Rebuild it on Qwenvo using the importer or the AI builder.
  3. Match the questions, the logic and the notifications. Add a Payment block if the original takes money.
  4. Switch off Qwenvo branding in Settings and style the form in the Customize panel.
  5. Send both versions to a colleague on a phone and ask which feels faster.
  6. Check the Submissions table and the Insights tab for what you get after a few test answers.

If the Qwenvo version does everything the original did, move the next form. If something is missing, such as a processor other than Stripe or a feature tied to Jotform's mobile app, you have learned that cheaply and can stay where you are.

Remember that a form is not only the builder. Check the pieces around it: where notifications go, where answers are stored, which pages embed the form and who else on your team edits it. List those before you switch so nothing is lost on the way.
